InfoTECH: new back-up in Korea for our terahertz imaging network
TeraSense successfully cooperates with a 50-strong army of recognized distributors/resellers worldwide and this number is steadily growing, which is a clear indication of the growing level of trust to our company and interest in our products. We are extremely proud to reinforce our ranks with one more dedicated partner in Korea - InfoTECH Co.
Founded in 2006, InfoTech is now a successful trading company that imports hardware and software, especially products related to semiconductors, for instance LED, LD, APD, electronic devices (GaAs based MESFET, PHEMT and GaN based HEMT). Moreover they have many valuable contact points including LG and Samsung, middle scale companies, Institutes, Universities. So, we are confident it should give us good leverage in sales promotion!
We are making attempts to grow the demand and some application fields for our THz imaging technology seem to be more promising than the others. The obvious positive achievement is that many industrial customers have recently ‘awakened’ to our THz technology and now show high interest to it. Security screening and Non-destructive testing (NDT) applications invariably take the lead in popularity and are priority directions. Needless to say that we heavily rely on our distributors and sales agents in this task and InfoTECH CEO being member of K.A.NDT is going to help with both directions.
Most importantly, all their merits will now be strongly underpinned with live demonstration capability, because InfoTECH has got their own in-house Demonstration kit (DEMO Kit). From now on they will be able to demonstrate our flagship product – our TeraFAST-256-HS high speed THz lines scanner, which was designed specifically to fill the needs in non-destructive testing (NDT) and quality control for various INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS.
We have not reached mass production level yet, because the world market remains very cautious toward novel technologies, but we are moving there and we are confident that InfoTECH will help our innovative products secure their ‘place in the sun’.
