The increasingly growing popularity of terahertz systems worldwide is obvious and beyond any doubts. Facts speak for themselves. Since its inception back in 1974 the IRMMW-THz continues expanding in scope and stature and attracting science and industry alike. The THz-trend obtained a tremendous backup in May 7, 2009 when the International Society of Infrared, Millimeter, and Terahertz Waves was officially incorporated. Just as before, the IRMMW-THz offers an excellent opportunity for interaction among participants, which tends to shorten the way for any innovative technology form science to industry. Well, the 43-year long history has a lot tell, but seeing Terahertz imaging systems first hand is much better!
