TeraSense at THz Optoelectronics and Photonics Symposium in Saint-Petersburg
In April 25-26, 2019, TeraSense took part in THz Optoelectronics and Photonics Symposium held during the conference on Photonic, Optoelectronic & Electronic Materials (POEM) hosted by Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
At this distinguished event TeraSense, represented by our senior sales manager, Alexander Nikiforov, demonstrated its most popular, innovative THz products - a 100 GHz wave source and a 2D imaging camera, TERA-1024. In the course of the interactive exposition, these devices drew a great deal of attention on the part of considerable audience, as they were able to observe first hand real-life visualization of various samples and experience the power of THz technology provided by TeraSense.
More than 100 participants, including 40 eminent speakers, attended the Symposium. Since this year it was conjoint with another prominent conference, SPb-Open, nearly half the attendants were students of leading institutes and universities from all over Russia. Discussion subjects covered wide range of THz applications: from spectroscopy and non-destructive testing to medical research and studies of nanoparticle properties.
We believe this Symposium has proven extremely fruitful as we have been receiving feedback and requests from a number of new Russian customers. Hence, it is with great optimism that we are looking forward to following up on the new potential clients to fulfil their needs with state-of-the-art TeraSense products.
